ABAM conducts Nagaland Canaan Farmers' School at Tuli

Ao Baptist Church Association (ABAM) organised the Nagaland Canaan Farmers' School at Canaan Farmers' School centre, Tuli from September 4 to 8, 2018

The resource persons were Rev. Dr. Mar Atsongchanger Executive Secretary, ABAM, Elder Kwan Soo Lee President Canaan Farmers' Training Centre, Philippians; Dr. Sashiyangba Asst. Project Officer, Land Resource Government of Nagaland and Rev. Kim Hyun Chul, World Canaan Farmers' School South Korea.

This programme was organised  with a view to transform one's mindset to realize the value of life and its decency which includes dismissing the habit of dependency and inculcating the importance of holistic fitness, thus propelling to work and live a decent life.

The concept of the Canaan Farmer's School was originated in South Korea during 1960s and the school was instrumental in transforming the life of people and in attaining economic growth in Korea.

Today it has become a world-wide movement and the people from all walks of life are trying to avail this training.

ABAM has been organising this training from 2015 and this is the 6th in counting. 

Nagaland Canaan Farmers' School is a member of World Canaan Movement, a recognised agency for sustainable development under development for public information, United Nations (UN-DPI) since 2016.  Churches under ABAM, NBCC and Nagaland Development outreach participated in the programme.

ABAM looks forward toward more individuals who will live with holistic fitness as the training continues in future.
