Pilgrims Park opens at Impur Mission Center

A public park by the name Pilgrims park was officially inaugurated at Impur Mission center, some 15 kilometers away from Mokokchung Town. The park was inaugurated by Wanglin Lowangdong, former Legislator of Arunachal Pradesh.

At a solemn programme which was constructed under his patronage, Lowangdong thanked the ABAM and the people who worked for successful construction of the park. He wished that the park will be a testament of the bond between the Aos and his tribe, the Nocte in Arunachal Pradesh. “ Despite our differences and location we are bounded together under the  love of Jesus Christ” he said. He also thanked Rev. Dr. Mar Atsongchanger  Executive Secretary, ABAM for the initiative taken to make this park come in reality.

Lowangdong said that Impur was a unique and sacred place to which one should take a journey individually “thoroughly with the fear of Lord and awaken the spirit of revival” among the Naga people and beyond. He said that the continuity to spread the Gospel with dedication was the need of the hour to reach the unreached.
